Josh Kraft Raises $337K in First Month of Campaign, Setting Record
Momentum builds across field, voter engagement
BOSTON, MA – Josh Kraft’s campaign announced today that total fundraising for February was $337,658, a sign of the momentum of Josh’s candidacy and a fundraising and a record for any Mayoral candidate in the first month of a preliminary election cycle.
“I am excited about the momentum we’ve gained in all areas of the campaign, including fundraising, community support, and volunteer engagement,” said Josh Kraft. “While we are just getting started, I am feeling great about the traction we’ve gained thus far and confident that we are going to be able to build on the progress we’ve made in just one short month.”
In addition to the money raised, Josh held his first volunteer organizing event that was attended by over 150 people. A second virtual organizing meeting is planned for early March to harness the considerable demand from people who want to help Josh and the campaign.
In a sign of early support and momentum, attendance at an East Boston gathering last week, hosted by people in the East Boston community, was jammed packed with over 160 people in attendance.
